Lead & Copper Test
The scientists at Xperiential Laboratories recommend that our clients on city water test for lead and copper at a minimum. For a more thorough assessment, you may wish to consider also testing for bacterial contamination which can occur as a result of water main breaks or local issues such as tree root infiltration of your plumbing, as well as testing for fluoride levels - an EPA listed primary contaminant. While low levels of fluoride can help prevent tooth decay, high levels of fluoride are associated with bone disease and in children, mottling of the teeth.
